นับเป็นครั้งแรกในประเทศไทยที่ UnionPay เครือข่ายการชำระเงินชั้นนำระดับโลกที่มีเครือข่ายครอบคลุม 183 ประเทศทั่วโลก จัดแคมเปญ “ เครื่องชำระเงินบทกวี” ( Poetry POS  Machine) รายได้ทั้งหมดในงานมอบให้กับมูลนิธิสายเด็ก 1387 เพื่อนำไปใช้พัฒนาคุณภาพชีวิตและการศึกษาของเด็กไทย นับว่า UnionPay เป็นสื่อกลางในการเชื่อมต่อสายใยแห่งมิตรภาพไทย-จีน ในวาระครบรอบ 50 ปีความสัมพันธ์ทางการทูตในปีนี้ โดยทุกการชำระเงินผ่านเครื่องชำระเงิน จะได้รับสลิปที่มีบทกวีของเด็กจีนจากโรงเรียนกว่า 400 แห่งในพื้นที่ภูเขาของมณฑลอันฮุย เหอหนาน เสฉวน กุ้ยโจว ยูนนาน ซินเจียงและพื้นที่ห่างไกลตัวเมืองอื่น ๆ

คุณไมเคิล ชาง ( Michael Shang) ผู้จัดการทั่วไปของยูเนี่ยนเพย์ อินเตอร์เนชั่นแนล ได้กล่าวสุนทรพจน์และยังได้อ่านบทกวี “ได้ยินว่า” ของเด็กจีนคนหนึ่งที่อยู่ในพื้นที่ภูเขาห่างไกลตัวเมืองเขาได้เขียนบทกวีสั้น ๆ บทหนึ่งแปลเป็นไทยได้ความว่า

ได้ยินว่า..แดนไกลโพ้น

รถรามากล้น..

แสงไฟงดงามพราว..

ฉันจะเป็น..

สายลมเบา..เบา

ล่องลอยไปมา..

สร้างความซาบซึ้งใจให้กับผู้เข้าร่วมงานเป็นอย่างมาก ในงานนี้ยังได้รับเกียรติจากคุณทิพยนิภา สมะลาภา กรรมการมูลนิธิเด็ก 1387 ได้กล่าวถึงพันธกิจของมูลนิธิโดยได้ให้ความสำคัญของเด็กทุกคน ซึ่งจะเป็นอนาคตที่สำคัญของชาติ ที่ลานกิจการรมยังมีกิจกรรมพิเศษมากมาย ไม่ว่าจะเป็นการอัดเสียงตนเองที่อ่านบทกวีและรับโปสการ์ดซึ่งพิมพ์ QR code เชื่อมไปยังไฟล์เสียงของตนเอง หรือการร่วมบริจาคด้วยการสแกนหรือรูดบัตรผ่านเครื่องชำระเงินของยูเนี่ยนเพย์ ก็จะได้รับ “ใบเสร็จบทกวี” ไทย-จีน เป็นที่ระลึก

บนเวทียังมีการอ่านบทกวีของเด็กไทยที่ได้นำบทกวี “ กราบแม่” ของคุณเนาวรัตน์ พงษ์ไพบูลย์ ศิลปินแห่งชาติของไทยมาอ่านกันอย่างพร้อมเพรียง โดยได้รับเกียรติจาก ดร.ธนกร ศรีสุขใส ผู้จัดการกองทุนพัฒนาสื่อปลอดภัยและสร้างสรรค์ และคุณเกศณี ไทยสนธิ กรรมการบริหารสมาคมนักเขียนแห่งประเทศไทย ฝ่ายต่างประเทศ ให้เกียรติเป็นผู้มอบประกาศณียบัตรแก่ “กวีเยาวชนมิตรภาพไทย-จีน”

นับเป็นนิมิตรหมายที่ดีของการร่วมมือในทุกภาคส่วน เพื่อร่วมกันขับเคลื่อนและกระชับความสัมพันธ์มิตรภาพและความปรารถนาดี ด้วยบทกวีของเด็กเล็ก ๆ จากแดนไกล โยงหัวใจผู้คนอย่างทันสมัย สร้างสรรค์จากเชื้อไฟแห่งวรรณกรรม 

The Writers’ Association of Thailand joins Poetry Lights the Heart’s Lantern

On August 11th 2025,  the River Park at ICONSIAM came alive as Xinhua News Agency teamed up with China UnionPay to host the poignant charity event, “Poetry Lights the Heart’s Lantern.” This enchanting gathering was a highlight of the Yu Yuan Lantern Festival and marked a historic collaboration: the inaugural introduction of the “Poetry POS Machine” campaign by UnionPay in Thailand. This esteemed global payment network stretches across 183 countries and, through this innovative endeavor, pledged all event proceeds to the Sai Dek 1387 Foundation, dedicated to enriching the lives and education of Thai children. This momentous occasion celebrated the enduring bond between Thailand and China, commemorating 50 years of diplomatic ties. Each transaction via the Poetry POS Machine presented guests not merely with a receipt, but a piece of art ,a poem penned by young children from over 400 schools nestled in the mountains of Anhui, Henan, Sichuan, Guizhou, Yunnan, Xinjiang, and other remote regions of China. Michael Shang, the General Manager of UnionPay International, graced the stage with a heartfelt speech, sharing a poignant piece titled “I Heard” by a child from a distant mountain. The verses, when translated, evoke a serene imagery:

I heard of …a land afar,

Where cars abound ..

and city lights glow..

I wished to be a gentle breeze,

To drift softly and flow..

This moving recital stirred the hearts of all in attendance. Among the dignitaries, Tipyanipa Samalapa of the Children’s Foundation 1387 highlighted their mission—placing children at the forefront, as they stand as the nation’s promising future. The event’s interactive elements captivated attendees, inviting them to engage with poetry through recording their own readings, receiving postcards embedded with QR codes to their personal poetry performances, and partaking in donations via UnionPay, earning a keepsake in the form of a Thai-Chinese “poetry receipt.”

The evening further flourished with harmonious recitations of Thai youth poetry, featuring the cherished piece “Honoring Mother” by Naowarat Phongphaiboon ( National Artist) . Esteemed figures such as Dr. Dhanakorn Srisooksai (CEO  from the Thai Media Fund ) along with Gassanee Thaisonthi ( Foreign Affairs Specialist from the Writer’s Association of Thailand ) adorned the occasion by presenting accolades to the children “Thai-Chinese Friendship Youth Poets.”

This signifies a promising omen of collaboration across all sectors, as participants joined forces to drive and strengthen the bonds of friendship and goodwill. Young children from distant lands contributed their poetry, connecting hearts in a modern, creatively kindled way with the fire of literature.:Cr;มณสิการ รามจันทร์
