พิมพ์ไทยออนไลน์//เมื่อค่ำวันที่ 27 พฤษภาคม 2568 สถานเอกอัครราชทูตอิสราเอลประจำประเทศไทยจัดงานเนื่องในโอกาสครบรอบ 77 ปีแห่งการสถาปนาประเทศอิสราเอล
ในปีนี้ งานจัดขึ้นอย่างเรียบง่ายและไม่ได้เป็นการเฉลิมฉลองอย่างเต็มรูปแบบ เนื่องจากอิสราเอลยังคงเผชิญกับผลกระทบจากเหตุการณ์การสังหารหมู่ที่เกิดขึ้นเมื่อวันที่ 7 ตุลาคม 2566 โดยกลุ่มก่อการร้ายฮามาส โดยมีผู้เสียชีวิตจากเหตุการณ์นี้มากกว่า 1,200 ราย รวมถึงคนงานชาวไทย 41 ราย มีผู้ถูกลักพาตัวไปยังกาซามากกว่า 250 ราย ขณะนี้ ยังคงมีตัวประกันอีก 58 คนที่ยังถูกควบคุมตัวอยู่ในกาซา ซึ่งในจำนวนนั้นมีชาวไทยรวมอยู่ด้วยสามคน 
จุดเด่นของงานคือพิธีมอบรางวัลมิตรภาพอิสราเอล-ไทยประจำปี 2568 ซึ่งจัดขึ้นเพื่อยกย่องบุคคลที่ให้การสนับสนุนอิสราเอลอย่างต่อเนื่องและยืนหยัดเคียงข้างอิสราเอลทั้งในยามรุ่งเรืองและยามท้าทาย การสนับสนุนอย่างแน่วแน่มั่นคงของพวกเขาเป็นที่ประทับใจและมีคุณค่าเกินคำบรรยาย
โอกาสนี้ นายอนุทิน ชาญวีรกูล รองนายกรัฐมนตรีและรมว.มหาดไทย ได้กล่าวแสดงความยินดีและส่งความปรารถนาดีมายังรัฐบาลและประชาชนชาวอิสราเอล “ตลอดเวลาที่ผ่านมา ประเทศอิสราเอลได้มีการพัฒนาอย่างรุดหน้า ทั้งด้านนวัตกรรม วิทยาศาสตร์ เทคโนโลยี และเกษตรกรรม ด้วยความมุ่งมั่นอันเป็นแบบอย่างให้นานาประเทศ”
ในคำปราศรัยของเอกอัครราชทูตอิสราเอล นางออร์นา ซากิฟ กล่าวว่า “ในอีกไม่กี่เดือนข้างหน้านี้ ดิฉันจะเสร็จสิ้นภารกิจในประเทศไทย และจะเดินทางกลับประเทศอิสราเอล ในระหว่างการดำรงตำแหน่งสี่ปีที่ผ่านมา เป็นสี่ปีที่ไม่อาจลืมเลือน ทั้งยังเป็นประสบการณ์พิเศษยิ่ง ดิฉันเริ่มปฏิบัติภารกิจท่ามกลางการระบาดใหญ่ของโควิด-๑๙ และดำเนินต่อเนื่องมา ผ่านช่วงเวลาสองปีอันยากลำบากสำหรับอิสราเอล แม้ใน ช่วงเวลาท้าทายที่สุด ดิฉันก็ได้รับกำลังใจจากการต้อนรับอย่างอบอุ่นของชาวไทย ความแข็งแกร่งของความเป็นหุ้นส่วนระหว่างเรา และมิตรภาพอันลึกซึ้งที่เชื่อมโยงประเทศของเรา ดิฉันมั่นใจว่ามิตรภาพระหว่างอิสราเอลและประเทศไทยจะเจริญรุ่งเรืองและพัฒนาต่อไปในอนาคต”

On the evening of May 27, 2025 the Embassy of Israel hosted a gathering to mark the 77th anniversary of the establishment of the State of Israel.
This year, the occasion was observed with sober reflection rather than full celebration, as Israel continues to grapple with the aftermath of the October 7, 2023 massacre carried out by Hamas terrorists. More than 1,200 people lost their lives in the attack, including 41 Thai workers. Over 250 individuals were abducted and taken to Gaza, and 58 hostages remain in captivity—among them, three Thai nationals.
A highlight of the evening was the ISRAEL – THAILAND FRIENDSHIP AWARD 2025, held to honor individuals who have consistently shown their support for Israel and stood by the nation in times of both joy and hardship. Their unwavering support is deeply appreciated and goes beyond words.
On this occasion, the Chief Guest Mr. Anutin Charnvirakul, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, said, “Over the years Israel has made remarkable strikes in innovation, science, technology and agriculture. Your country’s resilience and determination continue to inspire the international community.”
In her address, the Ambassador of Israel, Ms. Orna Sagiv, said “After four unforgettable years, I will conclude my term of duty in the coming months and return to Israel. It has been anextraordinary journey that began in the midst of a global Covid pandemic and continued through two difficult years for Israel. And yet, even during the most challenging times, I have been inspired by the warmth of the Thai people, the strength of our partnership and the deep friendship that ties our nations together.
